Larry Goodman says there is growing evidence that the interests of Irish farmers could be bartered as a political trade-off in the current General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) negotiations on world agricultural trade. He was speaking at a Small Farmers Awards ceremony.

Report shows Goodman speaking at awards ceremony followed by interview on the GATT negotiations and the need to support Ray MacSharry, the European Agriculture Commissioner. He speaks of the recent fraud uncovered by the European Court of Auditors, adding that his company is not involved and Ireland has a good record.
