Sean O'Callahan, formerly a Sinn Féin member of Tralee Urban Council, is to be sentenced next week at Belfast Crown Court where he admitted a series of Irish Republican Army (IRA) crimes carried out in County Tyrone in the mid seventies.

Report shows Belfast Crown Court and to camera Póilin Ní Chiaráin describes how O’Callaghan pleaded guilty to several charges including two killings, those of Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) woman, Eva Martin, in May 1974, and Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) Inspector Peter Flanagan, shot dead in Omagh in August 1974.
