Fourteen members of the Anglesey County Council from North Wales attended a special meeting of Dún Laoghaire Corporation in support of the existing ferry link between Dún Laoghaire and Holyhead in Wales. An European Economic Community-backed report has recommended the transfer of the passenger service to Dublin Port.
