A dispute has erupted between parish priest of Cratloe, Fr. Ronald Costello, and parishioners regarding the priest's closure of the local barn church, a rare example of 18th Century architecture.

Fr. Costello says he can no longer get insurance for the barn church and intends to build a modern church nearby.
