Man Shot Dead In Newry

A man named William Ian McKeown was shot and killed in Newry on his way to work.

In another incident a part-time Ulster Defence Regiment (UDR) member was shot at by five masked men outside his office in Cookstown, Tyrone. He sustained injuries but managed to fire back.
