IRA Arms Seized Garda Raids
BROADCAST:

Gardaí seize one hundred and forty rifles, handguns and ammunition in three dawn raids in Sligo and Roscommon.

Report shows Gardaí and armed special task force members at a cottage in Coolera, where thirty weapons were found.

The farmyard near Croghan on the Leitrim Roscommon border where more weapons were discovered including Kalashnikov rifles and boxes of ammunition. A house at Mullaghroe Gurteen Sligo where weapons were also seized.
