Toy With Rhythm rehearse ahead of a live show in Dun Laoghaire.

Toy With Rhythm was formed in 1982. In 1983, they won the Maxell Tape Awards and got a record deal. The band now plan to release another single and play a series of gigs.

The original Toy With Rhythm lineup included Flo McSweeeney who left the band and was replaced by Suzie Juke. Band members now are Ed (Adrienne) Darragh, Aileen Moran, Helen Walshe, John McCrea, Willie Demange, and Brian Despard.

At Litton Lane Recording Studios, Toy With Rhythm put the finishing touches to a vocal arrangement and rehearse their set for a gig at the Elphin Hotel in Dun Laoghaire.

Any money they make is put straight back into the band.

Nobody really makes money on the level we're at.

Before taking to the stage in Dun Laoghaire, the band prepare their look and warm up their voices backstage.

Toy With Rhythm open with a song called 'Fashionable Pasts and Predictable Futures'.
