Volunteers take part in the search for Annie McCarrick in the Dublin mountains.
American Annie McCarrick was last seen on 26 March 1993. Her father John McCarrick who has travelled from the United States joined the search operation today organised by the Dublin Mountain Rescue Service.
The last reported sighting of Annie McCarrick was in Johnnie Fox's Pub at Glencullen. Teams of volunteers searched sections of land in the vicinity.
In the meantime the missing woman's parents continue to wait for news of their daughter. John McCarrick tells RTÉ News that he is still hopeful,
We’ve got to keep looking. We have to keep hoping. That is all we can do. That is what I think a father and mother have to do. We won’t give up hope.
