'Love/ Hate' actor Aidan Gillen talks to RTÉ TEN about how and when he knew that he wanted to become an actor.
The second series of the hit RTÉ crime drama 'Love/ Hate' is in production, in which 'The Wire' actor plays drug dealer John Boy and the TV show is being filmed near Clonliffe Road, where Gillen grew up.
The set is also near the location of the Youth Theatre that Gillen attended from a young age.
He said: "I was acting in a youth theatre group from the age of fourteen on Gardiner Street's Youth Theatre.
"I didn't know I'd be doing it for a living, I wasn't too worried about playing big parts or any of that stuff it was a much more general kind of grounding."
