Bank of Ireland has raised €750m through the sale of a three-year unsecured bond.

The bank said the sale was oversubscribed, with the value of offers made by 130 investors being double the value of the sale.

The bonds were sold at a yield of 2.073%, with almost all buyers being based outside of Ireland.

Bank of Ireland said the successful sale was a vote of confidence in the progress made by the group in recent years.
