Business advisory firm Grant Thornton today opened its new offices in Cork.
The firm plans to hire 25 people to meet demand in Cork for specialist services such as advisory services, financial accounting and tax planning.
Grant Thornton already has offices in Dublin, Limerick, Kildare and Galway and has a workforce of over 500.
The company also said today that it plans to recruit 125 staff nationwide over the next two years as it continues its Irish expansion.
"We've made no secret of our ambitions to grow the business and the office opening in Cork is an element of this broader strategy,'' commented Paul McCann, managing partner at Grant Thornton Ireland.
