Independent News and Media has bought an English language education institution from shareholders including Dublin-based private equity firm, Kish Capital.
INM says the deal to buy International House Dublin will complement its Independent College Dublin operations, which it says is one of the fastest growing private colleges in the country. INM did not reveal how much it paid for the company.
As well as its English language teaching, IH Dublin is a major teacher training provider offering year-round courses from the University of Cambridge Examinations Department.
International House will continue to be managed by its current team, with Larry Finnegan as CEO, Mary Grennan as Director of Studies and Aoife Govern and Karen Nolan managing the marketing department.
