AIB has appointed two new non-executive directors to its board today. They are Simon Ball and Thomas Wacker.
Mr Ball is currently the non-executive deputy chairman of Cable & Wireless Communications. He has also worked at 3i, the Robert Fleming group and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.
Mr Wacker is a former CEO of Belmont Advisors (UK) and was also CEO of IFG Group's offshore business. He has has held senior management roles with Royal Trust Company of Canada, Bank of Montreal, Citibank, and Citigroup Investment Banking Group.
