Microsoft Ireland won the outstanding achievement in the Corporate Social Responsibility Award last night at the Chambers Ireland CSR awards. Judges praised the 'sustained excellence' of the company's CSR programmes.

The eighth annual awards were partnered by Business in the Community Ireland, run in association with the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government and sponsored by Arvato Finance.

European Year of the Volunteer Award - Intel Ireland

Responsible employer award: large indigenous company - Ulster Bank
Responsible employer award: multinational company - KPMG
Good neighbour award: large indigenous company - Glanbia
Good neighbour award: multinational company - Aviva
Most innovative CSR project award - Bord na Mona
