A set of propsals aimed at resolving a dispute at Lufthansa Airmotive has been put forward by the Labour Relations Commission in Dublin.
The proposals will be put to workers next week if they are ratified by the company on Monday.
The development followed talks between management unions today.
'The talks today have put all sides back on an even keel,' said Willie Quigley of UNITE.
'Negotiation on proposals to resolve the issues between workers and management had been progressing well and this week's breakdown is now hopefully behind us.'
On Tuesday this week, staff were called to a meeting where they were warned that if a ban on overtime was not lifted by the end of the month, 'the survival of the company is at risk and closing is most likely'.
The ban was voted for by members of three unions represented in the facility (TEEU, SIPTU, UNITE) so that they could pursue a claim for a 2.5% wage increase by industrial action.
