A Kilkenny-based company which provides hybrid renewable energy systems has received €800,000 in funding.
Hybrid Energy Solutions has received €500,000 from the Bank of Ireland Seed Fund, which is managed by Kernel Capital, with the rest coming from the Simple.ie Green BES Fund.
The company's products include generators, solar panels and wind turbines. It is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
Its current customers include Meteor, Telefónica, O2 and British Telecom. Hybrid Energy has offices in Dublin and Dubai.
