Technology company HP is adding another 50 jobs at its facility in Ballybrit in Galway.
The company said the jobs, which are being supported by IDA Ireland, are being added immediately, and come on the back of the 105 posts HP announced for the same facility in December last year.
HP said the new investment was a direct result of a recruitment drive to fill most of the jobs announced four months ago.
The company is looking to recruit recent engineering graduates, senior engineers, business analysts and data architects.
Down jobs blow from glass firm
Almost 50 jobs are to go in County Down with the closure of a glass company in Kilkeel. Employees of Toughglass have been told by management today that the business will close in the coming months.
The company makes toughened glass for use in buses and coaches. In July 2008 it laid off around 60 people, more than half its workforce.
