Irish Nationwide Building Society has become the latest lender to increase its standard variable mortgage rate. The increase will come into effect on May 1.
The building society said its variable mortgage rate will go up by 0.65 percentage points to 4.4%.
It added that this will add an extra €34 to monthly repayments on a €100,000 mortgage over 20 years.
