The announcement was made during a press conference at the Merrion Hotel in Dublin earlier today. The English beauty will represent the Irish jewellery brand for two years, and will help them launch a new campaign.
Campbell takes the place of actress Amy Huberman in what is a massive marketing investment.
Newbridge Silverware CEO William Doyle said:
“We are delighted to today reveal Naomi Campbell as the new face of Newbridge Silverware. As one of the most beautiful and recognisable faces in the world, Naomi embodies grace, style, beauty and strength and is the ideal fit for us. Working with Naomi, we want to take our brand to a new level and continue to grow our appeal both in Ireland and internationally.”
Campell commented:
“For me this partnership is about making affordable, quality design available to style lovers all over the world. I look forward to working with Newbridge Silverware to help tell their story over the next two years.”
Famous for being stroppy and dramatic, Campbell should be an interesting one to watch in this new role!
