US software company Salesforce.com says it currently looking to hire 100 more people, adding to its Irish workforce of 300.

The company says it is recruiting to meet the demands of new business and continued growth and expansion in Ireland.

The jobs will be at Salesforce's European corporate sales headquarters in Sandyford, Co Dublin. The new jobs to be filled include corporate sales account executives, business development specialists, marketing as well as roles in technical IT and support.

The company is involved in 'cloud computing,' in which data is stored remotely for customers. The company's European, Middle East and Africa chairman Dr Steve Garnett said the new jobs were in response to strong growth in and increased demand for its cloud computing services.
