The IDA has said it will create between 6,000 and 10,000 jobs this year, compared to 4,500 last year.
While the agency has seen significant job losses at companies it supports, this year it forecasts the numbers at work in IDA-backed companies will grow in 2010.
The IDA says it has secured 63 new investments this year, of which 20 were from companies setting up operations in Ireland for the first time, 22 were expansion investments from existing client companies and 21 of the investments were in R&D.
