50 new jobs have been announced for Manorhamilton in Co Leitrim.
Mirror Controls International, a company which manufactures mirrors for cars and trucks, is to transfer its European manufacturing business to its plant in Leitrim where it already employs 110 staff.
The expansion is being supported by IDA Ireland.
The Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation, Batt O'Keeffe, said the new jobs demonstrates the viability of the country's manufacturing sector.
He said it also consolidates Ireland's reputation as an attractive location in Europe for high-quality overseas manufacturing.
