Aer Lingus has named Australian Trevor Jensen as its new chief operating officer. Mr Jensen, who takes up the post on June 1, recently served as programme director for the Flight Safety Foundation.
He previously spent 25 years at Australian airline Qantas and also worked as chief operating officer at Air New Zealand/Ansett and Jetstar.
The airline's chief engineer Fergus Wilson has held the post of chief operating officer on a temporary basis since the departure of Niall Walsh earlier this year.
