Kevin Lane has been appointed the new chief executive of the Irish Dairy Board.
A native of Brosna in Co Kerry, Mr Lane will replace interim chief executive Dr Sean Brady on January 4 of next year.
Mr Lane joins the IDB from the Kerry Group. He has been with the food group for 22 years, filling a number of senior management positions.
His most recent job was as CEO of Kerry's Global Flavours Division. He received an honours business degree from the University of Limerick, specialising in Sales and Marketing.
