Sigmar Recruitment has announced a management buy-out from its parent company Newcourt.
The company said the deal was backed by internal and external investors. Sigmar employs more than 50 staff in six offices in Ireland and Europe.
Managing director Adrian McGennis said more than half of its staff were investing in the company. He said this was 'remarkable and shows their confidence in the business'. Sigmar's offices in Poland and Bulgaria will remain in the group.
A receiver to Newcourt was appointed in June. The company had been in talks about its debt, having breached some of its lending deals with Bank of Ireland.
