British bookmaking chain Ladbrokes has issued two amendments to its half-year financial results, which were issued last week.
The changes paint a weaker picture of its Irish business, as it said gross win fell by 4.4%, as opposed to the 1.7% increase it had reported last Thursday. Gross win is what the bookmaker is left with after paying out winning bets.
Ladbrokes also said that underlying costs in the Irish business rose by 5.7%, not the 2.9% it had previously reported.
The company has 206 betting shops in the Republic and 76 in the North.
