Holiday airline flyglobespan is to offer two new routes between Ireland and Canada from next May.
The company will fly from Toronto to Belfast every Sunday from 25 May next year, with its weekly service from Dublin back to the Canadian city beginning the following day.
Prices will start from £169.99 for one-way fares from Belfast, and €254.99 from Dublin. Both fares are inclusive of taxes.
The development was welcomed by the director of Dublin Airport, Robert Hilliard.
'I very much welcome this decision by flyglobespan to fly from Dublin to Toronto,' Mr Hilliard said.
'This is another valuable transatlantic link from Dublin Airport to North America and I am confident that this service will further strengthen business and tourism links between Ireland and Canada,' he added.
