The Dunnes Stores group has said it will create 450 jobs in two new stores it is opening this month in the suburbs of Galway city.
The new stores are in Briarhill, which opens today, and Knocknacarra, opening next Tuesday, September 25.
The new stores will bring the number of outlets Dunnes has in Galway to six.
Both new stores will have large grocery, textiles and home divisions.
