The Dublin Airport Authority has said passenger numbers at the airport topped two million for the first time in May, a 7% increase on the same month last year.
Passenger traffic to and from continental Europe rose by 14% to more than one million, but UK traffic recorded a slight decrease to 729,000.
More than 74,000 passengers travelled on domestic routes, a 3% increase, while passenger volumes to and from North America also recorded a slight decline to 115,000.
Other international passenger traffic to the Middle East, North Africa and South Africa rose by 6% to almost 15,000.
More than 8.6 million passengers have travelled through Dublin Airport from January to May, an 11% increase on the same period last year.
