EasyHotel, part of the London-based no-frills easyGroup, is planning to build 38 budget hotels in 17 countries, with six in India.
Istithmar Hotels, a subsidiary of investment group Istithmar, will work with easyGroup, investing over $400m over the next five years to build the properties.
The 3,800 new rooms will be manufactured as self-contained units, which will then be constructed into a hotel, EasyHotel said.
