A Westmeath-based hardware firm is to shed 15 jobs.
Flynn's of Moate, Homevalue Hardware told staff today that the jobs would go following an extensive review of the company's activities.
Managing director Hugh Flynn said the changes were necessary to ensure the continued development of the business and the security of the maximum possible number of jobs.
The firm currently employs 35 people, management have told staff that they hope to shed the jobs through voluntary redundancies.
