Businessman Denis O'Brien has called for a single corporation tax rate for the island of ireland.
Speaking at an SDLP function on the island economy in Belfast today, Mr O'Brien said it is not sustainable that one part of the island enjoys success driven by the private sector with the help of a low corporate tax, while the other is being held back because of interests in London and the South of England.
At present the Republic has a corporation tax rate of 12.5%, while the rate for Northern Ireland is 30%.
