Danish food sales collapse in Middle East

Supermarkets across the Middle East have removed Danish dairy food products from their shelves as a result of the conflict over cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad.

The collapse of its industry has prompted New Zealand to advertise its product.

The Irish Dairy Board says it has noticed a slight increase in sales of Kerrygold butter.

New Zealand's major dairy company has take advertisements highlighting the fact that its products are New Zealand-made. It is particularly trying to distance itself from Danish producers which it has worked with in the past.
