Irish owned group DIY group 4HOME Superstores plan to create 100 jobs in three new stores around Ireland.
Planning permission has been granted for the stores which will open in Portlaoise, Macroom and Nenagh.
Simon Healy, Managing Director, said the group was on the way to meeting a target of 30 stores, including franchise stores, by the end of 2007.
He added that the 4HOME concept has been specifically designed to facilitate franchising.
Earlier this year 4HOME opened its first store in Kerry in Killarney creating 45 new jobs.
During the past ten months the former Dairygold Co-Op Superstores at Raheen in Limerick and Carrigaline in Cork have been rebranded and redeveloped as 4HOME stores and a new E5m store was also opened in Mallow, Co. Cork.
