US gym franchise chain Cuts Fitness for Men has set up its first European outlet in Dublin.
Dubliner Fergal Lynch, who owns the master franchise in Ireland, says there are plans to open up to 35 outlets throughout the country by 2006, employing 140 people.
Cuts Fitness specialises in providing men with a 30-minute circuit training workout. Its Irish headquarters is in Walkinstown, Dublin.
Cuts Fitness was founded in May 2003 by New York fitness expert John Gennaro and now has over 150 outlets throughout the US.
Mr Lynch says six outlets will open before June in Longford, Cabra, Castleknock, Douglas, Limerick and Ennis.
