Dundalk head coach Vinny Perth is relishing the difficult challenge of trying to overcome Riga in Wednesday's Champions League first qualifying round second-leg clash in the Latvian capital.
The tie stands at 0-0 from the opening leg - a game where Dundalk created the more clear-cut chances - but found Riga a tough nut to crack.
Perth however feels there are goals in his side, notwithstanding that Riga will be aiming to make home advantage count.
Speaking to RTÉ Soccer correspondent Tony O'Donoghue ahead of the game, he said: "We're expecting a really difficult game but we're confident at the same time.
"They play with two number sixes in front of the back four so space will probably be at a premium. Tactically, Europe is like that, it throws you different challenges.
"We're looking forward to it and we feel we're in a good place. We have always scored a lot of big European goals over the last few seasons. We think there are goals in our side.
"They probably have to open up a little bit more than they did last week which we like to think will create a bit more space than was the case last week."

Since 2014, Dundalk have participated in European competition and in 2016 they reached the group stages of the Europa League.
Perth is hoping that the experience gained from facing different European opposition of late will stand to them as they look to progress in this season's Champions League.
"Experience at this level is massive," added the coach.
"You have to adapt to different styles, different environment, just everything about it is that bit different. It goes up a level.
"We have leaders in our dressing room like Brian Gartland, Dane Massey, Pat Hoban and Robbie Benson, who have all experienced big European nights. There the people that you turn to for weeks like this."

Perth also had an update on Chris Shields who sustained a nasty facial injury in the first leg.
"It's touch and go with Chris because a knock to the face would set him back. There was no concussion which our doctors checked on first. There are no cracks to the face.
"We're fairly confident Chris will be part of the match-day squad."
The Lilywhites are hopeful that winger Michael Duffy will still play a part in Latvia after departing the squad for the imminent birth of his child.
Perth continued: "We are monitoring the situation with Michael and we have prepared for it. We do a lot of work with 11 v 11 and have prepared without him.
"There are plenty of flights out here and we are expecting him to be part of the squad."
