Leinster's Harry Byrne is back in contention for Friday's Guinness Pro14 games against Zebre, while Caelan Doris remains sidelined.
The 21-year-old out-half has progressed through the return to play protocols after receiving a head injury assessment during the win over Glasgow last Sunday week.
He is expected to be available for selection for the trip to Italy (kick-off 5.45pm).
Doris was withdrawn from the national camp before the Six Nations due to "concussive symptoms", however, the Mayo native has been pictured training with the province.
Speaking to reporters this afternoon, senior coach Stuart Lancaster told RTÉ Sport that they are "optimistic" about his recovery and he may return within a month.
Back Ciarán Frawley (shoulder) and hooker Seán Cronin (back) will be further assessed during the week to see if they can feature in the second last game of the league season at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi.
Josh van der Flier is following return to play protocols in the Ireland camp after a HIA during Leinster's 38-19 win over Ulster on Saturday.
The result means they have already qualified for the final against Munster on 27 March.
