Jacob Stockdale has been added to the Ireland squad to play Scotland this week in the Guinness Six Nations.

The Ulster player returns to the squad having missed the opening three rounds through injury.

Shane Daly will remain at Munster as a result of Stockdale's addition.

Josh van der Flier will go through the graduated return to play protocols this week in Ireland camp after coming off at half-time in the win over Ulster.

The IRFU said there were "no significant injury concerns" from the other 12 players who featured in the Guinness Pro14 fixtures over the weekend.

The 36-man squad will travel to Edinburgh on Friday ahead of playing Scotland on Sunday at Murrayfield (3pm).
