Cora Staunton racked up a tally of four goals to help Greater Western Sydney Giants to a 48-28 victory over West Coast Eagles in the AFL Women's.

The Mayo footballer scored the hosts' first two goals in the space of two minutes at the Blacktown ISP Oval, before adding two more to seal a victory by 20 points.

Fellow Mayo player Grace Kelly was in action for the opposition, making one tackle and managing seven disposals, while Tipperary's Aishling McCarthy also contributed 12 disposals and seven tackles for the Eagles.

Elsewhere, Tipp's Orla O'Dwyer had five tackles and 14 possessions as the Brisbane Lions lost 45-33 at home to Adelaide Crows, who were without Clare's Ailish Considine as she completes the AFLW's return-to-play protocols after suffering concussion on 7 February.

Meanwhile, two of Melbourne FC's Dublin trio - Lauren Magee and Niamh McEvoy - were in action at Western Bulldogs but were on the losing side as the hosts won 37-24.
