Aishling Sheridan scored a goal and notched a behind as Collingwood beat North Melbourne in the AFL Women's.

The Cavan footballer helped her side to a 28-8 away victory at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, adding to further goals by Chloe Molloy (2) and Jordan Membrey.

It was her fifth goal of the campaign which puts Sheridan joint-fifth on the top goal scorers charts.

Mayo's Sarah Rowe also featured for Collingwood, making 14 disposals and one tackle.

Fellow Mayo native Aileen Gilroy was involved on the opposite side, with six disposals and four tackles for North Melbourne.

Elsewhere, Fremantle Dockers beat Gold Coast Suns 55-6 without Leitrim's Aine Tighe who is unlikely to play in the 2021 season as she continues her recovery from a knee injury. At Ikon Park, home side Carlton edged Richmond 51-46.
