Tiger Woods will partner Louis Oosthuizen and Joaquin Niemann in the first two rounds of the Masters following his latest remarkable recovery from injury, but he will be delayed following storms at Augusta.
Woods suffered severe injuries to his right leg in a car accident in Los Angeles in February last year, but confirmed on Tuesday that he plans to contest the year's first major at Augusta National.
Thunderstorms which forced Wednesday's par-three contest to be abandoned continued through the evening and overnight in Augusta.
Tournament officials announced that the first group would start at 8.30am local time instead of 8am, with Tom Watson joining Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player as honorary starters at 8.15.
Woods, a 15-time major winner, will tee off at 4.04pm Irish time (11.04am local time) today.
Woods has not competed in a top-level event since the 2020 Masters, which was held in November due to the coronavirus pandemic, but raised hopes of being able to play this week after a practice round at Augusta last Tuesday.
The 46-year-old played nine holes on both Sunday and Monday and played again on Wednesday.
Rory McIlroy faces a lengthy wait until he gets his eighth bid to complete the career Grand Slam under way, the four-time major winner teeing off in the final group today at 7.33pm Irish time alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Brooks Koepka.
Three-time major winner Padraig Harrington will make an early start alongside fellow veteran Mike Weir of Canada and amateur Austin Greaser at 1.41pm Irish time today.
Shane Lowry takes to the course at 3.31pm Irish time for his first round in a group which also contains Max Homa and Kevin Na.
Seamus Power, on the back of a meteoric rise up the rankings over the last year, lines up with 2018 winner Patrick Reed and Lucas Herbert at 5.54pm.
