Two Cork All-Ireland winners have earned a nomination for the 2018 Camogie Association/WGPA senior Players’ Player of the Year award.

Orla Cotter and Chloe Sigerson are the two representatives from the Rebel County while Kilkenny's Anne Dalton completes the three-player shortlist for the 2018 award.

Cork and Kilkenny contested the senior All-Ireland final for the third consecutive time earlier this year with Cork retaining the O'Duffy Cup at the death, courtesy of an injury-time free from five-time All-Star Cotter.

Both Cotter and Sigerson excelled from dead ball situations throughout that game with Sigerson nailing three impressive long range efforts on the way to a 0-14 0-13 victory.

Dalton was on the losing side in an All-Ireland final for the second year-in-a-row but the Kilkenny defender has been given the nod for the Players' Player of the Year gong. The five-time All-Star was also nominated last year when Rena Buckley picked up the award after captaining Cork to All-Ireland success in 2017.

Players who are members of an intercounty panel, participating in this year’s Championship, will now be invited to vote on their Player of the Year.

The deadline is 12pm on Friday 26 October and the overall winner will be announced on the night of the Camogie All-Stars Awards on 3 November.
