Gardai have said they are investigating an incident in which a man was assaulted at a train station in north Dublin over the weekend.
The incident happened after 7pm on Saturday evening on a platform at the Howth Junction Donaghmede Station.
Gardai said a man in his 30s sustained non-life threatening injuries and their investigations into the incident are ongoing.
Irish Rail said their onsite private security team responded to the incident and alerted gardaí.
They say they are now assisting gardaí with their investigations.
Images of the incident have been circulating on social media.
On a post on X, Rail Users Ireland appealed to anyone with information or video footage of the incident to contact gardaí.
