The political momentum is swinging behind Zero Covid as Ireland's vaccination plan faces delays.

The State's economic success over recent decades has been built on the policy of being a small open economy. Shutting travel is anathema to the country's ethos.

But this is exactly what most of the opposition parties are advocating. So what does Zero Covid mean? And what is life like in Australia and New Zealand?

The Your Politics podcast hears from Irish businessman David Ryan in Perth, Western Australia.

Presenter Paul Cunningham speaks with Tommy Meskill, Sandra Hurley and Mícheál Lehane about the changing opinions of politicians in Leinster House as parties face up to realities of the third wave of Covid-19.

The podcast is available to download here on Stitcher, Soundcloud and Apple Podcasts.
