A Dublin-based charity, Inner City Helping Homeless, has distributed thousands of bottles of water and sunscreen to homeless people to help fight dehydration and sunstroke during the hot weather.

Met Éireann is forecasting temperatures of over 30C in some areas again today.

Temperatures reached 30.8C at a Shannon Airport weather station yesterday.

The high temperatures are set to continue for the coming days.
