The funeral has taken place in Doneraile in north Cork of 44-year-old Barry Daly.
Mr Daly, a father of four, died after he was assaulted outside his home in the village in the early hours of last Sunday morning.
A 20-year-old man and two teenage boys have been charged with his murder.
Mr Daly's funeral mass took place this afternoon at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Doneraile.
He was buried afterwards in the nearby Oldcourt Cemetery.
