An investigation is under way to ascertain how many customers of Cork City's Park by Phone service have been affected by a data breach.
Cork City Council confirmed the breach this evening, saying personal data such as mobile numbers, email addresses and car registrations may have been accessed.
A spokesperson said the breach has now been addressed and no personal bank account or card details were accessed.
A normal Park by Phone service is operating.
Park Magic has confirmed the phone line will be manned tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.
