An Irish-Palestinian man living in Gaza has appealed to the Taoiseach and Government for help after filming a blast outside a window in his home.
Zak Hania, who lives in the southern city of Khan Younis, says the situation is "very, very, very dangerous and we are in great danger".
"There is an escalation of bombing. All the time we are hearing bombs and missiles and they just bomb few buildings in the area," Mr Hania said.
"We don't know where to go, what to do. We don't know. Please, please ask the prime Minister, the Taoiseach, the Tánaiste, everybody, to do something. This must stop."
Mr Hania shared a video of what appears to be a blast not far from the building he is staying in. Loud bangs and people screaming can be heard in the video that Mr Hania shared with RTÉ News.
It comes as Israel said it was pulling its Mossad negotiators out of Qatar, which is mediating efforts to secure a renewed pause in the Israel-Hamas war, after a deadlock in the talks.
Mr Hania's wife and four children were able to leave Gaza through the Rafah crossing two weeks ago, and are now in Dublin.
