Two people have been rescued from the water after a fishing boat sank off the east coast.
Emergency services were alerted after the vessel sank off the coast of Bettystown in Co Meath this evening.
RNLI members from Clogherhead were among those who responded, and upon arrival had found that the two people had been rescued by a crew from another fishing boat.
