The public are advised that there will be traffic diversions in Dublin and Cork today as marathon events take place.
More than 28,000 women are taking part in the VHI Women's Mini-Marathon in Dublin city.
The 10km race begins at 12.30pm and traffic diversions will be in place.
In Cork, more than 12,000 people are taking park in the Cork City Marathon, half marathon and 10K events there, with 3,000 participants taking part in the full marathon.
